Erection and Installation
With strategic planning and strict safety measures, we deliver projects on time and within budget, giving clients the assurance of our expertise, capabilities, and services.
- Main Frame Erection – Erection starts with braced bays for essential support during the process. Proper erection bracing is crucial to prevent collapse.
- Installation of Girts and Purlins – Girts and purlins are bolted directly to the frame or attached via pre-welded bearings clips. Purlins are raised in bundles near the eaves for easier placement. Purlin bracing is installed promptly and always before roofing.
- Placement of Insulation – Insulation is installed after secondary framing but before cladding. For fibre-glass insulation under through-fastened roofing, the roofing is fixed directly to the purlins. The insulation extends past the frame edge, with 150 mm of fiberglass removed, and the facing folded back to prevent moisture buildup. Proper safety measures are followed to protect the workers during this stage.
- Installation of roof and wall panels – Starting with roof panels enhances interior work efficiency and structural stability. Roof paneling often begins at an endwall, working against the wind to reduce the risk of wind-blown water intrusion in the panel side-laps. For safety, we use walk boards on fastened panels. Wall panels follow a similar process.
