The standard mezzanine framing system comprises a steel deck supported by joists connected to the main mezzanine beams. If required by design loads, the main beams may also be supported by intermediate columns.
The embossed patterns on the top and sides of the deck sheet ribs enhance grip, minimizing slippage by forming a strong bond with the concrete, similar to traditional reinforcement.
Rapid Installation and Lasting Strength
This system offers a permanent formwork, while eliminating the need for erecting, removing, handling, or storing timber or steel formwork as seen in conventional concrete slab construction. This results in significant time savings. Additionally, the clean, uniform, and aesthetically pleasing ribbed underside reduces the need for ceiling finishes, lowering overall costs.
